Health Care on Campus
The Student Health Center provides primary care services for University of Richmond students. The Student Health Center is located on-campus, and is dedicated to meeting the unique needs of undergraduate and graduate students.
Billing and the SHIP
The Student Health Center does not file or bill health insurance, including the Student Health Insurance Plan.
Professional visits with a physician or nurse incur no charge. There are charges for laboratory tests, immunizations, allergy injections and supplies for certain treatments. All charges are billed to the student account, and a statement is provided for insurance reimbursement purposes.
Students covered under the SHIP can be reimbursed for Student Health Center charges (subject to plan deductible, co-insurance, and covered benefits).
